So we got the first podcast out of the gate last Friday and there are 2 solid podcasts on deck being editted, with another possible 2 or 3 pieces that may or may not turn into segments.
Like the title implies, We are hasty and careless and still working out some bugs.
The shot from above is Jay doing a throw outside the Art Gallery of Ontario before a blogger Q&A with director David Cronenberg. We are still trying to figure out if any of the footage is worth saving.
The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition.
Hey Folks, here we finally are with our first, ummm I mean second
podcast. The lost first episode is being recovered from the Dead Man's
Chest and will hopefully be posted soon
Hope you enjoy, or at least have a good laugh.
Show Notes from Episode #002:
It is my deepest pleasure to introduce SlapDash to the wonderful world wide web. Slapdash is a video podcast that was conceived by 3 artists from Toronto. The idea is to cover interesting and amusing things around the city. The hook is that we are off the cuff, unorganized and a tad bit sloppy. What we hope to achieve is something that is one part amusing, one part informative and one part careless.
Rannie Turingan is one of the 3 hosts of Slapdash. He is a long time Toronto blogger and photographer. He's the main guy who slaps ideas together and hopes they stick.
Michelle Turingan is our token female host of the show. She is the videojunkie of the group and edits the podcasts together. On her free time she is a big time videogame fiend and also plays in a band called Violet Static.
Jason Schneider is also a host of the show and is the resident graphic designer. During the day, he manages to produce magazines and in the evenings he produces sweaters. He knits, among other things.
